Generation (Tetra, DECT, GSM, IS-95); GSM-Systeme: Netz- und Systemarchitektur, Sprach- /Kanalcodierung, HSCSD, GPRS, EDGE; GSM-Applikationen;UMTS, dynamisches Verhalten von W-CDMA-Netzen, Kanalorganisation, HSxPA, LTE, mobile convergence, multimedia-services, mobile fraud

Qualification objectives
Kenntnisse: Kenntnisse über die Mobilfunk-Netzarchitektur und die Funktionsweise der Systemtechnik sowie der technischen Realisierung neuer Features Fertigkeiten: Der Studierende soll erkennen, wie sich technischer Fortschritt und sich ändernde Anforderungen auf die Evolution der Mobilfunk-Systeme auswirken; Vermittlung von Methodiken zur Beschreibung des dynamischen Verhaltens komplexer Nachrichtenübertragungssysteme am Beispiel von UMTS Kompetenz: Dimensionierung von Mobilfunknetzen nach Verkehrs- und Abdeckungsanforderungen |
