In "Topics of Electrical Engineering" the different fields of research and development in Electrical Engineering, especially at HTW Dresden, shall be introduced to the students by means of a lecture series. There will be presentations regarding various topics such as

  • measurement technology
  • high power engineering
  • automation technology
  • electrical drives
  • electromagnetic compatibility
  • information technology
  • high frequency technology
  • electromobility
  • etc.
Qualification objectives

The students are familiar with different fields of electrical engineering. The main goal is to create a strong motivation for continuously studying electrical engineering. Additionally, the studends shall gain a broad overview about "their" field of study. They learn about the research activities at the unversity.
