Qualification objectives
This module is based on the student’s basic knowledge of solid waste management and recycling. Students develop an understanding of landfill, recycling, waste reduction, policy and economics, composting, waste collection and transfer, municipal waste, industrial waste, residual waste and other waste management and technology aspects. They are able to identify technology advantages and limitations, synergies and solutions and to present their findings in seminar discussions. |
