Qualification objectives
Students will be familiar with the water cycle of different scales, will be able to estimate the water balance of a particular area and will know about the consequences of climate change on the water cycle. Students will have an overview of hydrometric techniques and will have practiced some of the most common gauging methods. They will be familiar with the requirements of checking and processing of hydrometrical data. Students will have practiced several methods to determine design flows for planning from Excel-calculations to their application in internationally applied software and will be able to use any other hydrological method or software. |
