Qualification objectives
Students will futher apply their hydrological knowledge. They learn how to deal with flooding and in the context of water resources managemnt how to deal with droughts. They learn in an exemplary way how to use software as a means of assisting in planning and decision making. Through work on examples they will be able to draft design rainwater harvesting systems, reservoirs and irrigation systems. They will be able to evaluate and judge respective systems. During the field work they apply various techniqes for collecting hydrometric data and carry out the respective processing further improving the ability to evaluate such data. |
