Instruction content/structure

Presentation of new developments and trends in the fields of building materials, construction technology, measurement and as well test technics for new buildings and existing buildings. Furthermore case studies will be shown.
Constant adaptations of the content to current developments

Qualification objectives

Information about new developments and trends.
Understanding and evaluating of development trends and resulting problems.
Application of special measurement and test methods for special cases and interpretation of measurement results.
Development of research needs.

Social and personal skills

Critical evaluation of the given state of the art of building materials, construction technology, measuring and test methods in special cases.
Ability of problem identification and necessary direction of development.
Training of analytical thinking, creativity, and scientific working methods.
Independent editing of subtasks and in group discussion.
