Qualification objectives
Students will be familiar with checking and processing of hydrometrical data and learn basics of hydrological modeling. Students will understand the development of floods, flood forecasting and flood protection. They will know how to produce a flood map using GIS. They will also develop an understand the development and the impact of droughts. They will be able to apply recent procedures to evaluate hydraulic structures and to design basic irrigation and infiltration schemes. |
