Seminars, laboratory practical, excursion
- Water quality parameters and analytical methods
- Temperature and humidity measurements
- Air pollution and analytical methods
- Soil pollution and analytical methods
- Trace organic compounds: sources and analytical detection
- Sampling methods, analytical field test equipment
- Data assessment
Students develop an understanding of water, air and soil analytical methods and monitoring concepts. They know relevant quality parameters, field and lab methods. Students are expected to prove an adequate level of data assessment, critical evaluation of environmental data and applied methods. Issues of data handling and plausibility checks are understood. Students are able to identify appropriate methods and interpretation tools to evaluate pollution of water, air and soil.
