Knowledge:

  • basic concepts of electrical engineering
  • basic electrical components and their behaviour
  • electrical circuits containig DC and time-varying voltage and current sources as well as their analysis methods
  • calculation of voltages, currents, powers and energies in electrical circuits
  • basic circuits for the solution of standard problems in electrical engineering

Skills:

  • confident handling of electrical engineering quantities and units
  • confident handling of analytical and graphical methods for ciruits analysis
  • design of small circuits for standard problems in electrical engineering

Competencies:

  • able to apply electrotechnical descriptions and methods for the solution of complex tasks and in other electrical engineering areas
