Annualy changing engineering task e.g. provided by Ingenieure ohne Grenzen (Engineers without borders)
Development of ideas and solutions
Evaluation of ideas and project definition
Planning and technical implementation
Cost estimate and time schedule
Project report
Submission of the project (video)
If selected, presentation of the project at the IoG Challenge annual meeting
Students work on a practical problem aiming at long-term improvement of life in developing countries. Solutions require innovative and non-conventional thinking beyond the common standard approaches allowing implementation using locally available resources.
Students improve their facility for creative thinking and consolidate their project management and reporting skills and ability to work in a team.
