- Governance and stakeholders in urban environments
- Being able to evaluate global challenges of urbanisation
- Knowing and understanding relevant aspects of urban ecology
- Knowledge and understanding the impact of climate change on urban habitats
- Applying and evaluating appropriate instruments and strategies of urban planning
- Evaluating impacts of methods in vegetation technology used in urban areas
